Our innovative technology transforms traditionally low value timber into premium high quality lumber products at a competitive price. Our mission is to unlock new profit margins and value for lumber producers while decreasing the carbon footprint of the forest industry.   • Company established with Nak’azdli Development Corp.
  • Proof of concepts

2020-2023

  • Pilot plant engineering, procurement, and construction
  • Successful pilot operation and R&D phase upgrading aspen lumber

Recognizing their vital role, the Nak’azdli Development Corporation holds equity in Deadwood Innovations, ensuring governance representation, facility management and ownership. Our pilot and the Tl’Oh Upgrader plant are on the Nak’azdli Whut’en reserve.
